In life, it is not always so much what you do, as it is "what you do with what you do."

We have days where we can barely put on our socks without falling over, and days when we fall head over heels, to days that life knocks our socks off.

We have moments that take our breath away, and moments we cannot catch our breath. Of all our moments and all our days, we may be taken away by trying to do what others think we should do, or be someone that others think we should be. All the while failing to see, life must always be...

"Starting with ME."

We cannot very well be well, when we are striving to always consider everyone else's opinions, feelings and wellbeing, over our own.

We may do this, because certain people in our lives offer us the belief that it should in fact be this way, which is about what they want and need. However, this is just what it is... An offer.

And much of the time, this takes place when others are not able to find their needs and capabilities on their own, and in turn, turn to us to find it for them.

Many times, we will have those want what they want, from us, so much that they put aside what is best for us, in their mission to make things happen, for them. We deserve to have what makes us feel whole, and give to ourselves what grounds us. If we are more worried about hurting others in the long run, while choosing the best for ourselves, it is going to be a long shot to success, if we believe that we have to be there for others first.

They will find their way, ok, as we find ours. We can try to pick people up and carry them along their way, losing sight of ours, all we want.

But truth be told; once we put them down, they will fall down until they learn to pick themselves up, for themselves.

We can only walk our own path. And guide others through just that. In order to set your sights high and be the best that you can be, use the mantra and be ok with it.
