"The space is there, you just have to set yourself up for it "LoVe, LuCy
We have all had those times, we are worried, stressed and confused, as all things seem to be caving in on us. Those moments when it doesn't matter what any one says to encourage or support us in understanding that "this too shall pass", we cannot see the passing of this, if it were to slap us in the face.
Now, thinking back, of all those times, one thing remains a theme. It did pass! And most importantly, where we held a space of worry and confusion we could have changed to a space of peace, faith and belief that we are divinely protected and will be cared for, during even the most dreadful days under duress. What we thought was darkness, had a light, at the end of the very dark tunnel, and many times had a silver lining to boot! Remembering those times, may not help us when we are going through so very serious, very traumatic times, now, unless we can focus not on the time's pain, but on who we are, now, because of having gotten through it, then.
If we can focus on the lessons learned, and the triumphs resulting from the trauma, we may be more ready to take on that which lies ahead. We will never be without hurt, pain, and grieving. What we do with it is what allows us to grow, and move forward in our lives, with confidence that all brought to us, is special for us on our journey. It is important to be with all that is with us.
Denying that we are in a painful place will only leave us in complacency. By breathing in an embracing even the toughest time, and holding that sacred space of calm over confusion, we can watch our passing through take place. There is always space available for anything we wish to use it for, it's up to us to use it for our best good.
