Well, Look At You!

"In love, that someone is you." Love LuCy

By the time we have reached thirty-something, we have all experienced at least a few relationships that have allowed us to take our journeys to a deeper level understanding, about ourselves.

It takes quite a while, for many of us, not only to figure out what we truly desire for a happy and healthy bond with those we choose to spend our lives with, but how we can voice what this looks like.

Of all that we wish to have, many times we can be confused as to why, when we seem to say what that is, we are not receiving, in return. It is easy for us to stomp our feet, and throw our hands in the air, in defeat for not being able to attract that "one."

We sit and ask ourselves "why" it seems we are just not getting to that place where we can finally lay our heads, and our hearts, in rest. Many times, we may even find ourselves attracting the same thing, over and over again, blaming ourselves for not being good enough, or strong enough, or clear enough to see the signs.

The signs that we are truly missing, however, is that all that we are attracting, is all that we are, or all that we are in fact asking for, whether we believe this or not. So once we change our belief we can be ready to change what we allow in.

And, until we are able to look at ourselves, and look at our thoughts that in turn create our actions, and behaviours, outward, we will only then, bring in the love that we are looking for, and yearning for, forever. Whatever we feel about ourselves, we will attract.

Change how we feel about ourselves, and change what we attract in our lives. We can move out of energies that are not working, and feel proud of ourselves for moving on.

Which is absolutely wonderful. But until we move forward in our own personal thoughts, of healthy love of ourselves, those same unhealthy inner demons will rear their ugly heads, again, just with a different face. It is as easy and as complicated as that!

Against The Grain

"Once you know, you know."

Love LuCy

What is the voice and the tools that create that voice, when it comes to hearing our hearts sing when we come to that place of certainty for why we are here, and what we were meant to do with our lives?

It can take many forms. Sometimes the voice comes from a teacher, a parent, or guardian. When we were young, and for some, later in life. Maybe it was the voice from a great friend we have known all of our lives, who have seen us grow up, seen us grow, and seen us grow out of habits that were hindering our growth. Maybe it came from someone we just met.

Someone who saw something in us, that we didn't even know was there this whole time. However we hear that voice, and whether we perhaps have yet to hear it;

It is there, waiting to be heard. We all have a purpose, and all have a passion inside of us, waiting to ignite. We are only given what we truly need, to grow.

Sometimes these voices can seem like yelling, and screaming or even belittling.

By understanding that what is in front of us, at any time, and everytime, is absolutely put there for the purpose of us being shown our truth, we can perhaps be more understanding of life, love and what that needs to look like, for our individual desires to be set free from the captivity of not being seen to the outside world. Sometimes the first part is going against the grain and not trying to be what everyone else wants us to be.

The best part? Being all that we want and can truly be, in this World.

"Change can be as Far Out as Your Thoughts!"

Love LuCy

It is no coincidence that as soon as we change how we look at things, things around us change accordingly. Just as we, ourselves, are connected to each other, our thoughts are connected to each other as well.

When we have a thought that may be of worry, we will notice many more things to worry about, above and beyond that initial thought. Same goes for thoughts on abundance. When you believe all will pan out well, so much more greatness comes in, not even planned for.

We have all, I am sure, heard of self fulfilling prophecies, of which when you think something is going to happen it usually does.

If you are like me, you have people in your life that just seems a lot of chaos surrounds them. Drama...Bad Luck... You name it. Just the same, many people around of whom many positive things seem to constantly take place.

Love...Success...Good Luck...

Of all these people in your life, you can add yourself to both piles, depending on your thoughts on circumstances, in life. I know, for myself, I have been both surrounded by drama s much as surrounded by luck. I look back on what I was thinking when all the "supposed" luck would fly in, I even remember my sister calling me once and saying to me..."It is like you have a golden Horseshoe up your...." Sorry for the details, it goes with my smile.

I realized, that "yes" in fact I always had so much coming my way, and in reflection, my mind space was always so abundant, but MOREOEVER, so daily grateful, that every day in so many ways, I always received abundance in return.

The great thing about this, is that we all have it in us, to get out of life, all that we ever imagined possible. And it all starts with a thought.Change your thoughts, change your luck; change your life.

Don't take my word for it; just make up your mind!

Get A Little Closer

"My mind gets the best of me, when I think the best things!"

Love LuCy

Our ultimate desire in life, no matter where we hang our hats, or rest our heads, is all the same. We wish to love and be loved.

A midst our ultimate desire rests on our shoulders many stresses, fears and perceptions that can tend to take our mindsets away from this very thing. We, as individuals, do not want to let pride and ego stand in our way of love and support. We don't wake up in the morning with the very intention of making it very hard to find peace and care toward and from others. Even so, when we set out to experience our days, we can experience situations that, subconsciously, take over our focus and our genuine understanding that Love will heal all.

This creating a block for ourselves, and others, and in our connectedness to those we love. Catching fear in the act may not be easy. We may not recognize that it is speaking through us, and taking over what could be a loving connection.

For us to stop fear and ego in its tracks, all we truly have to do is be open to getting a little closer, and being more open about what we are feeling, so we can allow our truth to be stronger than fear, and stronger than the bi-product of behaviours that can take over, when we don't.

Try it for a day.

When you feel frightened, or threatened, and choose pride, or ego to protect yourself; instead, believe that you are always protected and take your fears and share openly to others, in love, rather than letting your fears, take over you.

Heads Or Tails?

"It is how it is, however you say it is!"

Love LuCy

With such a vast array of feelings we experience throughout our lives, and about ourselves and others, many times we can get a bit confused as to what we are feeling, and when. Truly, as we have all heard, it is not the circumstances and experiences, themselves we go through and remember, but clearly how we feel about ourselves, and others, throughout. Many of our memories exist within us, because we can recognize how they made us feel. Whether scared, unhappy, ecstatic, or embarrassed; it all comes down to the feeling.

We will all, in some form or another, at some point or another, feel things that we wish we didn't feel.None of us enjoy the sense of not being fulfilled.

When we feel these less than likeable emotions, it is important to observe what is underlying, in order to not only understand why we feel it, but how we can be more aware in order to prevent it from continually taking place.

We won't always catch our negative emotions in the act, before they come creeping in.

However; we can acknowledge when they come in, and be more mindful in our lives as to perhaps what we are attracting and enabling, for these feelings to take place, and move into our space. Before we are capable of moving on, in a healthy and grounded environment inside and outside of ourselves, we must take the time to make heads or tails of our emotions.

Life may sometimes see like the flip of a coin, sometimes, I am sure; so at least when we are sure how we feel about it, it is not so much a gamble.

Almost Always

"I am So Not Perfect!" Love LuCy

Life truly is in how you look at it. We know this because what bothers us one day, can just as easily have no effect on us, the next.

I am not sure I have all the answers to life's burning questions, but when in doubt, I believe that I do, and work with that, instead. We are going to slip up in our steps now and then, and many of those times, we will beat ourselves up about it.

We can change this self sabotage simply by looking at ourselves, and our slipped up steps, and perhaps shrugging it off as a lesson in getting to know ourselves better.

None of us are perfect, and many times, we tend to slip up because we are focusing on a feeling that we are not good enough, and it shows in our actions.

If we can believe that in life, in love, and in all of our lessons, we are almost always our best, with room for growth, of course, we may see our slip ups happen less and less and less. LoVe,

Eye Of The Storm

"Hurrying gets you nowhere but tired." Love LuCy

With our days filled with so many people to see, places to go and things to get done, it is no wonder we can feel a bit unfulfilled. Even though we love to connect with those we love, and many of us love the work we do, it can still take its toll on our emotional state when we feel that perhaps there was no time left for ourselves. Amidst our time for everything and everyone else, it is so imperative that we cater to our connection with self, along the way. Centering ourselves and being with our thoughts can allow us the opportunity to be that much more there for others. The balance between self and others is not just about the time we spend with both, but the ability to spend that time with ourselves that allows us to understand who we are, in return being able to see how we can be there with and for others we love. How can we know what role will work best and how we can be the best when we do not give ourselves the chance to see our best parts of ourselves, first? With all that takes place around you, take a moment to sit in the calm of it all, and appreciate what is inside, and what best way to bring that out to the World. LoVe,

LuCy sMiLeS
